Sen. Franken Working Hard for Minnesota or Hardly Working?

Minneapolis, Minn. – While Sen. Al Franken vacations in Lake Tahoe today, College Republicans wanted to remind Minnesotans that Al Franken isn’t working for Minnesota, he’s hardly working.

“Sen. Franken’s vacation to Lake Tahoe reveals just how hard he’s not working for Minnesota,” said Angie Hasek, Chair of the Minnesota College Republicans. “Since Senator Franken votes with President Obama 97 percent of the time, maybe this is one of those times where he’s taking a three percent vacation from his voting record. Minnesotans deserve better from their Senator, and that’s why they should elect Mike McFadden in November. Mike’s not on vacation, he’s out getting to know Minnesotans, having traveled to almost all 87 counties all ready. Come November Senator Franken can take a permanent vacation.”
